Dispatch

911 operators are prepared to dispatch and monitor your emergency
When you have an emergency, the Walthall County Sheriff's Dispatch Division (911) is likely your first call for help. When a dispatcher receives a call, he or she quickly determines the situation and notifies the police or fire department in the community where the emergency is occurring. The dispatcher also notifies emergency medical services and other first responders as needed.

The certified dispatchers of Walthall County make sure the public safety personnel - including police, fire and ambulance services have responded to accidents, tornado victims, medical emergencies, drowning victims, fires, and other emergencies.
